Li Shanlan
también conocido como Li Renshu o Li Qiuren

(2 ene. 1811, Haining, provincia de Zhejiang, China–9 dic. 1882, China).

Matemático chino. Dominó a edad precoz tanto los tratados sobre matemática tradicionales chinos como aquellos occidentales disponibles. En 1852, en Shanghai, conoció a Alexander Wylie de la Sociedad misionera de Londres y acordó colaborar en la traducción de obras occidentales. Junto con su casi contemporáneo Hua Hengfang, Li dejó una impronta permanente en la nomenclatura y exposición matemática china. Desde 1869, Li fue profesor de matemática en la escuela de Tongwen Guan, convirtiéndose en el primer chino en ocupar un cargo de estilo occidental en matemática.
